Maegan wrote an 8-thousand-word novel for school as part of National Novel Writing Month in November. Her class held a book signing event, at which Maegan was chosen to write and read an introduction, and to read an excerpt from her book, “Monkey in the Middle”.
I covered the event for the school district. Here’s the news story we ran, including Maegan at the end. I kept the cameras rolling during Maegan’s parts so her two reads are included too. Sorry the audio isn’t very good (Maegan didn’t have a wireless microphone on), and you can hear Darah announce to the room when she realized that Maegan was in front of her.
