A little over 24 hours ago I blogged about making the family into characters from The Simpsons. Then our friend since high school, Dee, prompted me to make a version of her from the late 80′s. Then I read on Chris Rooney’s blog that he liked what I did and duplicated my process of Simpsonizing [...]
The Simpsons Movie just relaunched their official website. Half of the site is annoyingly under construction but you are able to make your own custom Simpsons character. Maegan wanted to make herself into a Simpsons character, so I Simpsonized the entire family (and then PhotoShopped it more).
Picasa Web Albums recently introduced a cool new feature where you can map the locations of your photos. I’ve been testing it out on a few photos, but I won’t add locations to photos taken at my house. Too much information.
I took Maegan camping this weekend at McDowell Nature Preserve, which is just a few miles from home. After setting up the tent we set out on a long two hour hike, half of which was on trails we’ve never hiked before. Maegan kept proving to me why she’s a straight-A student, constantly teaching me [...]
Living in Charlotte, North Carolina, very few people have ever heard of my Upstate New York alma mater of SUNY Plattsburgh. Today we all met the new General Manager for both stations and it turns out that he is a SUNY Plattsburgh alumnus too. He graduated 11 years before me and was also in a [...]

How annoying.” But then I remembered the story of Courtney Mei’s new shoes. I immediately got up and followed the squeaky [...]
Today I played in my first ever disc golf tournament. No, I’m not that good (yet). It was a friendly, amateur-level tournament played every Thursday at Sugaw Creek. I was one of three first-timers to sign up. In fact, this was the first full round of disc golf I’ve played with anybody other than Maegan [...]
This video is over a year old but still funny. Well produced too.
Last year I began adding feeds to my Google personalized homepage (now called iGoogle). As time went on I kept adding more tabs to accommodate more and more feeds I was tracking, but now it was getting too annoying. Aside from having to constantly switch between multiple tabs, some blogs posted so often that I [...]
I’ve always hated the homepage of my website. I tried including sample content like blog snippets and photo feeds but it felt too redundant. I tried avoiding redundant content but then the site seemed boring and unaesthetic. This past weekend I finally sat down and just started fiddling around with PhotoShop, with no particular ideas [...]
